False Positive Ratio by Rule Report

The False Positive Ratio by Rule report measures how accurately a specified rule determines fraud. All decisions are counted, including those for which a Create Case decision triggered by a rule was followed by a case suppression.

By looking at the outcomes of the cases that were created by the rule, managers and supervisors can see what ratio of the cases created by the particular rule actually turned out to be fraud. The False Positive Ratio (FPR) related to each rule is also displayed by this report. Because the report also includes the rules that were run in a Test mode, the efficiency of those rules can be gauged by looking at their False Positive Ratio as shown in this report.
