Tracking Activity Across Projects

You can enable tracking activity across projects in the Tracking Management project. The same global Tracking Management functionality is available from the list of Falcon Expert projects and also inside each project.

In the Tracking Management project, there are four activities on which you can enable tracking:
  • Case Suppression
  • Case Creation
  • Authorization
  • Alerts (Notices)

If these activities are globally enabled by Tracking Management, then the decisions will be tracked for every rule regardless of the Track Decisions check box for each individual rule.

If these activities are not globally enabled by Tracking Management, then tracking will be enabled or disabled by the Track Decisions checkbox for each rule.

To set up Tracking Management, perform the following steps.

  1. Log into Falcon Expert.
  2. In the Projects page, open the Tracking Management project.
  3. Click an activity in the ruleset list to open it.
  4. Click Check Out on the toolbar.
  5. Select Enable.
  6. Click Save and then Check In on the toolbar.
  7. Submit the activity for approval.
    Once approved, tracking activity is enabled.
