Deploying Projects
Deploying a project validates active and approved rules in all projects for the current tenant and moves them onto the
Falcon
Scoring Server so they can be used to evaluate transactions.
The
Deploy Rules icon deploys all active and approved rules in all rulesets across all your projects for the Tenant you are logged into.
Falcon Expert will not deploy rules if one or more rules are checked out in any project. In horizontally scaled
Falcon installations, rules are deployed on the primary node and then on all secondary nodes automatically.
![]() | Important: Rules can be deployed by
Falcon Expert users who have been assigned roles or permissions that allow rule deployment. In addition, users must be assigned Expert <datafeed> permissions for a project in order to deploy rules for that project. If you want your
Falcon Expert users to be able to deploy all rules for all projects, make sure the datafeed permissions for all projects are assigned to that user.

![]() | Note: You must select the
Is Active option for a rule to deploy it.

It is recommended that you validate each rule frequently because unsuccessful deployment may be caused by invalid rule syntax in one or more of your rules. Validation is automatically performed when you check in active rules. All rules must be checked in, active, and approved to be deployed to the Scoring Server.
