Custom User-Defined Fields
To increase the user-defined field capacity, custom UDFs are supported.
Users can submit JSON-formatted, custom field data to the RESTful web service using HTTPS. Once received, the custom user-defined fields are visible in transaction data in the Case Manager, and they can be used in Falcon Expert for writing rules.
Custom user-defined fields offer an extension of existing
Falcon data feed definitions. Any number of name/value pairs can be submitted within each JSON document. Real, integer, and string data types can be used in any combination. The custom fields can also include demographic data. Custom UDFs are available for the following projects:
- Authentication 20
- Credit 24 Authorization-Posting
- Credit 25 Authorization-Posting
- Debit 24 Authorization-Posting
- Debit 25 Authorization-Posting
- Retail Banking Transactions 21

Any changes to custom field names must be carefully tracked. References to obsolete Custom UDFs will prevent successful rule deployment.
