Falcon® Fraud Manager Expert is a Rule Maintenance Application (RMA). It provides editing and management features for defining the business rules you want to apply to transactions that have been scored by the
Falcon
Scoring Server. Use
Falcon Expert to develop rules to:
- Calculate user-defined variables (UDVs), which track events over periods of time, or user defined profiles (UDPs), which store values and track behavior over time.
- Return a decision function to create a case, send a notice to
Case Manager, or make a recommendation to the authorizing system.
Important: The payment instrument's authorization system or external system makes the actual transaction decision. The Falcon system may be configured to override the authorization system's decision, for example, to approve or decline a transaction. Consult your FICO implementation manager for configuration details. - Read from or write to lists, such as hotlists or customer lists.
