Approving Rules and Rulesets from the Explore Pane

Users with the required roles and permissions can approve rules and rulesets from the Explore pane.
Note: All rules in a ruleset should be approved before the ruleset is approved.
  1. Open a project, and expand it in the Explore pane.
  2. Select the new or modified rule or ruleset from the Explore pane.
    The State of the rule or ruleset will be shown as Approval Requested with a yellow indicator on the workflow status bar at the bottom of the workspace.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • Select Approved in the State drop-down list in the workflow status bar at the bottom of the workspace.
    • Select Rework in the State drop-down list in the workflow status bar at the bottom of the workspace.
  4. Click Done.
  5. (Optional) Enter workflow comments when prompted.
    If you reject the rule or ruleset changes, you may want to provide guidance for future work or reasons why the changes were rejected. These comments will be shown in the Approver Activity List and the Author Activity List.
  6. Click Submit.
    If approved, the workflow state color indicator changes from yellow to green, indicating that the rule or ruleset has been approved. The rule or ruleset is now available for deployment. If rejected, the workflow state color indicator changes from yellow to red.
