Updating a UDV Snapshot Mapping
After you map a user-defined variable (UDV), you can use the
UDV Snapshot Mapping page to change it.
- Click the UDV Snapshot Mapping icon on the main toolbar.
-
Select a project that has UDVs you want to update.
If any UDVs have already been mapped, they are displayed in a table.
-
Click the
Edit icon.
The details of the mapped UDV are displayed and are available for updating.
-
In the
Display Name field, enter the name you want used for the UDV as a column header in the transaction grid of the
Case Manager.
The Display Name must begin with an alphabetic character. Only alphanumeric characters are allowed in the name. The use of special characters in the name will result in a failure of the name to display in the Case Manager.
- In the Description field, enter a description for the UDV.
- Select a profile type (Account, Customer, Service) from the Profile drop-down list.
-
Select the UDV from the
UDV drop-down list.
The list of available UDVs is populated based on the profile type you previously selected.
- Click Save.
- To set the order of the UDVs in the transaction grid, move your cursor over an individual entry. When the cursor changes, click and drag the UDV mapping to the position in the table in which you want it to appear in the transaction grid.
- Click Save.
