Versions
All versions of project items are stored in the repository. When you update your workspace the current version of each item is copied to the workspace. The working copy is the same as the latest version number in the
Version drop-down list. In the following figure, the working copy is the same as version 3.
When you release the project, a copy of the current version of each item is included in the release. Each time you check in changes to the repository, the modified version becomes the current version. You can view any previous version of an item. You can also promote a previous version to be the current version, enabling you to revert to an older copy of the item.
When you open an item from your workspace you open the current Working Copy. A drop-down list at the top of the page provides access to the version history and all previous versions.
