Using Global Rules
Global rules that affect one or more tenants can be created using the global tenant in
Falcon Expert.
Before it can be used, the global tenant (FI_GBL_TENANT) must be created by running a script. Refer to the FICO® Falcon® Fraud Manager Case Manager and Expert Installation Guide for information on locating and running this script.
In order to access the global tenant controls, do the following:
- Obtain the appropriate permissions from the administrator using Case Manager.
- Switch tenants to use FI_GBL_TENANT.
The global tenant automatically inherits all the default rules for the default projects. Create rules in specific projects for the global tenant the same way that you would create any rule.
![]() | Note: Rules created by other tenants or the FI_BASE_TENANT are not inherited by the global tenant.
|
![]() | Important: If global rules are applied to a tenant, the rule counts for that tenant will not be accurate.
